Been a month or so since receiving my tree and it has grown about two inches or more. Probably time to plant it in a bigger pot. Hopefully it will grow strong enough to plant in yard by next spring

We are anticipating the continued growth of a giant sequoia in Michigan, to accompany the trees in the UP. Sadly a tree purchased last year dried out and died. Hopefully this one will flourish this time around. Fingers crossed!

I’ve bought three trees from this company. They shipped quickly and came neatly packaged, roots were moist. I lost the first two trees I bought, but it was pretty much my fault I didn’t research them better – the pot wasn’t large enough, they dried up and died when I brought them indoors for the winter. This last one though, it is thriving! I hope I can care for it well enough indoors this winter. I also bought better soil for this time around. After year two in the planter, I plan to plant outdoors. Wish me luck!

Struck out with seeds and previous sapling. This little guy looks like he’s gonna make it. Harder to find S. gigantea than you’d think.
